Our Office Collaborates with Schools to Promote Knowledge on Anti-Fraud and Anti-Drug Safety-1

.In the vibrant spring of Zhubei City, the Hsinchu District Prosecutor's Office partnered with Zhubei City's elementary and middle schools to hold two anti-fraud and anti-drug awareness activities on April 17 and May 7, 2025. Through engaging and entertaining methods, students learned how to protect themselves and stay away from the dangers of fraud and drugs in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
.The first event took place on April 17 at Dongxing Junior High School during the "Career Expert Activity." Various professionals from different industries were invited to share their career experiences. Our office's guardians presented an engaging anti-drug advocacy short film, using youthful language to remind the pubescent children of five key points to remember in order to stay away from drugs: "Firmly refuse, be wary of disguises, leave quickly, seek help, and report to the police." The event featured many fun trivia prizes, allowing children to deepen their understanding of the dangers of drugs and awareness of prevention while answering questions and receiving small gifts.
.On May 7, during the "Mother's Day Green Market" event at Xinglong Elementary School, our office set up an anti-fraud advocacy booth on this day filled with love and care. We introduced common fraud tactics, such as impersonating friends, prize scams, and online fraud, using simple and easy-to-understand language. Children were reminded to stay alert, not to trust easily, and not to fall for scams, while parents were encouraged to participate together to strengthen safety conversations within families.
.These two events not only heightened students' self-protection awareness but also promoted good interactions between parents and children. Many parents expressed that the anti-fraud and anti-drug advocacy was meaningful, as it not only taught children how to protect themselves but also became an important opportunity for family members to discuss safety issues, further enhancing family cohesion. It is hoped that through these advocacy activities, students will learn to remain vigilant in their daily lives and understand the importance of protecting themselves and others.
.Finally, our office emphasizes that continuous collaboration with schools is a key strategy for strengthening safety protection for youth. In the future, we plan to expand similar advocacy activities, hoping to allow more students to learn how to protect themselves in a relaxed and fun environment and to bring this awareness back to their families and communities, collectively safeguarding a healthy and safe growing environment.
